Maureen Ringness
Maureen grew up in Durand, Illinois and joined Shaw Media so many years ago, it’s tough to keep track. She has had a very diverse advertising career, working with auto/real estate, builders, major accounts, local accounts, and digital. She has been retail-advertising manager, marketing manager, group sales director for major accounts and is now our digital sales manager.
She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in Journalism, emphasis on Advertising. Maureen believes that, along with her team, SMM will become the premier choice of local advertisers to manage their marketing and advertising needs. The team is committed to delivering results to their clients.
Outside of the office, Maureen enjoys spending time with her family, watching her daughter play volleyball and being with friends.

The Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, Club Fusion Volleyball, St Charles North Volleyball, Notre Dame Football and Illinois and NIU sports in general.
Favorite TV Show/Movie
I love to plop down on Thursday nights and watch all of the TGIT shows on ABC, but truly, "This is Us" is the best show on television. Movie? Every time “Love Actually” comes on, I watch it.
Strange facts about you?
I like to clean. Well, I don’t like to clean, but I like the end result enough to do it.
Favorite Band/Music?
I love all the 70’s and 80’s bands: Foreigner, Survivor, Journey, REO and Bon Jovi.
