Renee Herrmann is a Marketing Consultant helping SMB’s create custom campaigns to achieve business objectives. Both her education and experience make her a hidden gem for local businesses. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters in Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University, Renee has worked over twenty years in digital marketing/advertising for both local and Fortune 500 companies. Renee is ready to create something special for your business! She joined Shaw Media eight years ago and enjoys bringing a unique perspective to her clients while creating and executing successful marketing and advertising strategies.
In her personal life, Renee loves her family (husband, Paul and two teens, Michael and Helen plus her Siberian cat, Cashmere). She enjoys travel, attending University of Wisconsin alumni events, going to local festivals and of course spending time on the computer and online shopping.

You’re happiest when…
My family is happy and my sports teams win. Also, when I get to wear my favorite jewelry. I’m REALLY happy when I have adult beverages with family and friends.
What is your hidden talent?
Luckily, I have several hidden talents! I have the ability to read multiple books at one time. I can touch the tip of my nose with my tongue. I’m also a very fast and accurate typist. Additionally, I’m great at spelling.
Best Part/Favorite Part of your job at SMM?
Coming up with creative solutions for customers; working with a fun and talented team. Of course, the close commute (eight minute drive) is great as well.

I LOVE the Wisconsin Badgers, Chicago Bears/Cubs/Blackhawks/Bulls.
Favorite TV Show/Movie:
Recent shows that I like are: Game of Thrones, Big Brother, Orange is the New Black, Grey’s Anatomy, Downton Abbey, Vikings. Some of my favorite movies include: 16 Candles, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, 50 First Dates, Shawshank Redemption, Grease, Forrest Gump,The Notebook and Gone with the Wind.
Strange facts about you:
I had to wear the Billy Bob and Chuck E. Cheese costume for my college job at Showbiz Pizza (now Chuck E. Cheese). I bite my nails. I feel naked without lipstick. I’m not fond of eating with my fingers. I played seven instruments growing up (my favorite is the piano). I was Chapter Correspondent for my sorority, Chi Omega. My secret lifetime goal is to write a historical romance novel.
